I aim to strengthen the digital resiliency of organizations and brands by giving teams better tools and processes to achieve their goals in integrated marketing and innovation. At the same time, I strongly emphasize quality design and creative processes without allowing the user experience to suffer. Transparency is key to my communication style. I always show my work and make it accessible to others.
over 10 years of experience
I started managing website projects in Los Angeles in 2005. Since then, I have led dozens of website projects from small business websites to enterprise-level rebrands. In 2015, I became a Scrum Alliance certified scrum master. I prefer agile methodology and often use Kanban boards, sizing and daily scrum check-ins.
Attention to user experience and empathy (for users and the client team) plays a big role in my aptitude on large interactive projects. I enjoy leading workshops that bring people and ideas together and am quite comfortable speaking to CMOs, CTOs, CEOs, engineers, creative directors and your 5-year-old.
My background as a visual artist means I have a trained eye for design and actively collaborate in the creative process. I love brainstorming with others on large whiteboards.
I gave a TED talk in London in 2014 about a long-term art project called Awake. The images below from my Instagram profile feature artistic inspiration and work in progress.
